Despite the excellence achieved, the industry faces critical challenges related to safety, sustainability, and technological innovation. In this context, the SIRIO project was launched, aiming to improve working conditions and environmental safety through the integration of an innovative radioactivity monitoring system, in compliance with Legislative Decree 101/2020.

The system, developed by a consortium led by CAEN SpA in collaboration with ACTA, Dansk, and 9dot, will be capable of performing radiological measurements in various environments (quarries, enclosed spaces, water sources), adapting to the specific needs of the Tuscan stone material supply chains. In particular, 9dot will provide a high-tech power supply system equipped with Power over Ethernet (PoE) functionality, designed to optimize energy consumption and ensure operational continuity. The system includes advanced battery management and the possibility of integrating alternative energy sources, such as solar power, thereby contributing to the overall sustainability of the project.

The Italian techno-marble sector, with a strong presence in Tuscany, represents a strategic component of […]

["post-4057","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
