Project MADRE (Multicore Advanced Device Rugged Evolution)
The MADRE project is an R&D initiative developed by 9dot within the framework of the PR FESR 2021–2027 program, Action Line a1.3.1, and supported through a non-repayable grant for the development of a Proof of Concept (PoC).
The project focuses on the design and implementation of an advanced electronic platform for power distribution and device control in telecommunications, automation, and smart grid environments. The solution is based on a modular hardware architecture combined with dedicated firmware, enabling intelligent load management, continuous monitoring of electrical parameters, and seamless integration with cloud-based interfaces.
MADRE introduces a cloud-ready, scalable, and interoperable system that integrates hardware and software components to improve energy efficiency, system reliability, and overall performance. Security is embedded by design, while advanced monitoring and predictive maintenance capabilities support proactive infrastructure management.
By addressing the growing need for efficient, connected, and resilient power systems, the MADRE project contributes to the development of more sustainable and future-proof infrastructures.
