The 9dot SRL company has participated in the tender in support of the project co-financed by the POR FESR Toscana 2014-2020 AXIS 1 - LINE OF ACTION 1.1.5, launched by the Tuscany Region and financed by the European Union through the Regional Operational Program - Fund European Regional Development (POR-FESR).

The project intends to develop an onboard plant engineering system for a yacht, optimizing costs and consumption and introducing innovative technological systems to offer new services and standards of production, performance and maintenance management with advanced prediction techniques.

The objectives of the project are:

• The realization of an advanced IoT architecture applied to the nautical sector that allows managing radio communications and system resources in the most efficient way possible;
• The overall energy efficiency of a yacht's technological system;
• The control of new onboard parameters;
• The efficiency of the installation process of technologies and on-board systems, both in the production phase and in the maintenance phase of the boat;
• The study and efficiency of the life cycle of technologies and of the boat itself;
• The development of a data management platform;
• The regulatory / operational study of a certified quality procedure.

The YI4.0 project received a total funding of €97,657.50, divided as follows: year 2019 €37,880.00, year 2020 €41,152.97, year 2021 €18,624.53
